SAP Ariba
Implementation

End-to-end SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass implementation across the CEE region. From procurement strategy and module configuration through go-live and user adoption. 20+ deployments across five countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

The platform that transforms
how you buy

SAP Ariba is the world's leading cloud procurement platform, connecting over 5.5 million companies through the Ariba Network. It enables full digitization of source-to-pay processes — from identifying procurement needs through strategic sourcing and contract management to operational purchasing and invoice processing.

For organizations in the CEE region, deploying SAP Ariba means moving from fragmented, often manual procurement processes to a standardized, transparent platform with built-in analytics, compliance controls, and access to a global supplier base. It is not just an IT tool — it is the foundation for transforming the entire procurement function.

As Associate Partner CEE at apsolut Group — a multiple SAP Ariba MEE Partner of the Year and SAP Gold Partner (part of All for One Group SE since March 2026) — I lead SAP Ariba implementations from the first conversation with the CPO through production stabilization. My track record spans over 20 deployments in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania for clients such as KGHM, Zabka Polska, PLL LOT, Motor Oil Hellas, and MOL.

Scope of
services

Strategy & implementation roadmap
Assessment of procurement maturity, AS-IS process mapping and TO-BE design, SAP Ariba module selection, business case development, and implementation scheduling. I factor in the regulatory and cultural specifics of CEE markets — from Poland's KSeF e-invoicing requirements to local compliance standards.
Implementation & configuration
Project delivery using the SAP Activate methodology. Configuration of realms, approval workflows, document templates, roles, and permissions. Definition of procurement categories, organizational mapping, and routing rules. End-to-end testing: unit tests, SIT, and UAT.
Integration with SAP S/4HANA
Design and deployment of SAP Ariba integration with SAP S/4HANA Procurement (formerly SAP MM) via SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/BTP). Master data synchronization (suppliers, materials, cost centers), replication of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices. Support for multi-ERP and legacy system integration scenarios.
Migration from other platforms
Migration from SAP SRM, Marketplanet, Ivalua, Basware, Coupa, and other platforms to SAP Ariba. Transfer of historical data (contracts, supplier base, catalogs), process mapping, and user training. Proven experience with multi-entity migrations in multi-ERP environments.
SAP Fieldglass — External Workforce
SAP Fieldglass deployment for managing contingent workers and external services (SOW). Configuration of approval processes, rate cards, timesheets, and billing. Integration with SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA in an integrated procurement ecosystem model.
Change management & adoption
Organizational change management throughout the implementation. Training for buyers, requisitioners, approvers, and suppliers. User adoption programs, KPI monitoring (adoption rate, PO compliance, maverick buying), post-go-live support, and process optimization.

SAP S/4HANA
Procurement

SAP Ariba delivers the greatest value when paired with SAP S/4HANA as the underlying ERP. Integration covers master data synchronization (suppliers, materials, organizational hierarchy), replication of procurement documents (purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices), and bidirectional data flow between the Ariba cloud and on-premise or cloud S/4HANA.

In CEE projects, supporting local requirements is particularly critical: Poland's e-invoice (KSeF), Hungary's NAV Online Invoicing, Romania's e-Factura, and Slovakia's IS EFA. I design integrations to meet local fiscal regulations while maintaining process consistency across the corporate group.

For organizations planning a migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, I provide guidance on designing the target procurement architecture — ensuring the Ariba deployment is synchronized with the S/4HANA program to maximize return on investment in both systems.

Regional
expertise

I have been building the CEE region for apsolut Group since 2021. That means over 20 SAP Ariba deployments across five countries, each with its own regulatory, cultural, and system landscape. I know the local supplier markets, compliance requirements, and procurement organization expectations throughout the region.

Poland — the largest market in my portfolio. Deployments for KGHM, Zabka Polska, PLL LOT, and others. Deep knowledge of Polish Public Procurement Law (PZP), KSeF, and state-owned enterprise group structures.

Czech Republic & Slovakia — projects for international groups operating across both countries. Handling bilingual and trilingual scenarios, integrations with local ERP systems.

Hungary — deployments for MOL and other energy-sector clients. Integration with NAV Online Invoicing, compliance with Hungarian procurement regulations.

Romania — projects for industrial-sector clients. Integration with e-Factura, process adaptation to local regulatory requirements.

End-to-end
from strategy to go-live

01 — Assessment & strategy
Spend analysis, procurement process maturity assessment, and benchmarking against best practices. Design of the target procurement operating model and selection of the optimal SAP Ariba module configuration. Business case development with measurable KPIs.
02 — Design & prototyping
Workshops with key stakeholders (CPO, Category Managers, IT). TO-BE process design, integration requirements definition, and prototype configuration in a test environment. Validation of assumptions by key users before full implementation begins.
03 — Implementation
Production configuration of SAP Ariba modules, CPI/BTP integration build, data migration, and testing (SIT, UAT, performance, and regression). Project management following SAP Activate with clearly defined phases: Explore, Realize, Deploy.
04 — Go-live & stabilization
Cutover planning, production launch, hypercare, and support during the first weeks after go-live. User adoption monitoring, integration issue resolution, workflow and business rule fine-tuning. Knowledge transfer to the client's internal team.
